SNUPSTER% LEADERBOARDS

Snupster% is a spinoff of “Any%” and “100%” which refer to speedrun rules. Snupster% follows a specific rule pattern for speedrunning. While the Snupster% is mostly used on Snupster races, it is also used when practicing or speedrunning the games solo.

You are free to use the term (and rules) of Snupster% anywhere, including YouTube and Twitch.

The Mega Man Series:

Snupster%

– Buster only through the robot master stages
– Every weapon allowed after the robot master stages
– No glitches or clipping/zipping
– Rush and Adapter allowed for powerup grabs
– Beat/Yoku are not necessary

Snupster% Buster Only

– Snupster% rules, but
– Buster only through the entire game (except where not applicable)
– Rush and Adapter allowed for powerup grabs
– In case of Mega Man Unlimited, Use Yo-yo Cutter on Wily 1.

Snupster% Glitch

– Snupster% rules, but
– Glitches and clipping/zipping allowed

– Anyone can apply. Your best time per game is the only time showcased.

– US versions of the games are to be played if they are available.

– Leaderboards display the top 10 times for each game. If your time doesn’t knock out the runner in the 10th place, your run won’t get added.

– Your video title must include the Snupster% variation that is being run in the footage. If the video title or the video itself is later removed or modified in such way it no longer is clear what the run is about, it will be invalidated. Exception: A race video with multiple people.

– Your video has to have a timer of some sort, based on real time. Timer starts from picking the first stage, and ends in the last frame when you can no longer control the game, usually killing Wily. Hours and minutes required. If the timer is missing milliseconds, they will be automatically converted to 99. We don’t have time to analyze your run so don’t send us videos without a timer. The timer needs to stop when you end your run.

– Your run can be from a race or a solo run, but keep in mind the timer needs to stop on your specific run. You can later edit the video file to add and stop the timer if it’s not against copyright laws.

– If you break the Snupster% rules during your run, it will be invalidated.

– You can use the original consoles, or emulators.

-Skipping cutscenes is allowed in every game. In our rare case where it didn’t work on an emulator, we would just deduct the seconds from the final time in the video (Mega Man 10 can bug out).
